When will you have (product name) back in stock?
Products are normally made in small quantities at a time to same time and money, as well as to gauge interest. Products that are popular are more likely be re-stocked, but you're free to make a custom restock request over on our Contact page.
I have a character I'd like to request merch of
That's great! Please make any requests for character merch via our Contact page. Public interest in merch of the character will then be gathered and, if deemed viable, will be added to the store. You're also free to request specific merch types like standees, buttons, keychains and more. Please note that requesting a character will not guarantee that they receive merchandise.
Something is wrong with my order
Oh no! I am only human and also only one person with attention issues, so I'm prone to making little mistakes. Please don't hesitate to get in contact with me either via our Contact page, or by emailing us at info@melancholynightmares.com and I'd be more than happy to help you fix the issue and make any reimbursements if necessary.
I've received an extra item I didn't order
Congratulations! Some orders are packed with extra goodies that just barely failed quality inspection, whether that was due to tiny scratches, misalignment or anything else I deem unworthy of being paid for. This item is completely a gift, so enjoy it! If you don't want to keep the gift, I'd recommend giving it away to a friend, or a charity/thrift store to avoid unneeded waste. Thank you!
Can I post about my order online?
Not only is that completely allowed, it's also encouraged! I encourage people to tag me when they purchase merchandise so I can see and share with others! It's incredibly satisfying to see products of mine arriving to customers!
Why am I being charged for two separate shipping costs?
This is a result of Shopify not allowing shipping profiles to be grouped together. You likely got this because you're purchasing a large item like a pillow or a bundle at the same time as purchasing smaller items like buttons and keychains. In the case that you have been double charged for shipping, while your order is being fulfilled, you will be refunded the cheaper shipping cost or reimbursed until a better system is implemented. If you do not receive a refund, please reach out to us and we'll sort it right away!
What are the rules for refunds?
If products arrive in a less than satisfactory state and are completely unusable, (non-applicable if the product is easily fixable), then you may be entitled to a refund via store credit. Please reach out via our Contact page, or by emailing us at info@melancholynightmares.com with proof of faulty product. In the event of an order not arriving within the shipping timeframe provided at checkout, there is a chance that the order may be delayed or lost. In this case, please allow 10 working days for UK delivery, 20 working days for European delivery, and 25 working days for Worldwide delivery before contacting us to make a claim.
Why is Christopher's merch a little more expensive?
Introducing: The Christopher tax. A semi-satirical reason as to why Christopher's merch costs just that little bit extra. Mostly made to "punish" Christopher fans, as cruel as that sounds, but it's barely an increase on the price, so really it's not that bad. Sucks if you were just trying to get all 3 ObsessILY characters though, so sorry for the collectors being caught in the crossfire! And besides, I think it's hilarious.
What is your stance on Generative AI regarding your store?
Despite Shopify's best efforts of shoving generative AI down the throats of everyone who doesn't want it, my store will always remain completely human-made. (when within my power, since who knows when they'll force it even more?) This means that all the images, writing and artwork you can find on this site is completely human-made by me.
